Still human, still here

I mentioned the STILL HUMAN, STILL HERE photo exhibition last month and I went to see it today. The pictures are very moving, even more so when you know the people in them (but the exhibition is actually quite small, so I would only recommend you go if you're passing in the area!)

The exhibition is part of the STILL HUMAN, STILL HERE campaign, which is dedicated to highlighting the plight of tens of thousands of refused asylum seekers who are destitute in the UK. It was first launched in June at St Martins-in-the-Field and can now be seen at the Human Rights Action Centre.

J'avais mentionné l'expo photo STILL HUMAN, STILL HERE le mois dernier et je suis allée la voir aujourd'hui. Les photos sont très touchantes, et encore plus quand on connaît les gens qui y sont (mais l'expo est assez petite donc je ne vous conseillerais d'y aller que si vous êtes dans le coin!).

L'expo fait partie de la campagne STILL HUMAN, STILL HERE, qui a pour but de montrer la situation désespérée dans laquelle se trouvent des dizaines de milliers de demandeurs d'asile refusés, qui vivent dans la misère la plus totale au Royaume-Uni. Elle a été inaugurée en juin à St Martins-in-the-Field et on peut maintenant la visiter au Human Rights Action Centre.
