Theatre play. Pièce de théâtre.

Our theatre group performed for the first time ever last Monday and as one of the organisers said, it must have been the first ever play in Lingala (Congo's native language) by probably the first and only Congolese theatre group to be played in this country!!...

Brian to visit Congo.

Here's an article about one of our senior advice workers, Brian Mitchell, who has been awarded a Winston Churchill Memorial Trust Travelling Fellowship and so will be travelling to Congo at the end of the year to gain a better understanding of the situation...

Cooking lesson 1. Leçon de cuisine 1.

We started our cooking lessons last Thursday. For a first, it was quite successful and our visitors were very pleased to have some hot and different food for lunch! Volunteers will be taking turns to demonstrate simple, nutritious and inexpensive meals...

Every year, every day, I am walking.

I went to see this play the other day and strongly recommend it. The story is set in Africa and it's the sad tale of a family being torn apart by war, seeking refuge in another country and having to build a whole new life there with the ghost of the lost...
