Voucher exchange scheme

How would you cope if you had no cash, if you could buy things only in one named supermarket, if the nearest branch was far and you didn’t have the money for the bus fare? This is the situation for most asylum seekers who receive support from the government. They receive £35 in vouchers per week with no choice of which supermarket chain. The result is that they often sell their vouchers for much less than their face value. You can stop this with us.

At NDRC we exchange these vouchers for cash at face value, once a month to enable them to buy other things that they need. If you shop at ASDA or TESCO consider exchanging vouchers through NDRC and at the same time show solidarity with asylum seekers. The vouchers come as gift cards. These hold any unspent money on the card.
TESCO vouchers can also be used at TESCO petrol stations.

Comment vous en sortiriez vous si vous n'aviez pas d'argent liquide, si vous ne pouviez faire vos courses que dans une seule chaîne de supermarchés, si la branche la plus proche était loin et que vous n'aviez pas d'argent pour acheter un ticket de bus? Voici la situation dans laquelle se retrouvent la plupart des demandeurs d'asile ayant droit à une aide du gouvernement. Ils recoivent £35 par semaine en bons d'achat, sans avoir le choix du supermarché. Ils se retrouvent donc souvent obligés de les revendre à moindre prix. Vous pouvez nous aider à y mettre fin.

A NDRC nous échangons ces bons d'achat contre de l'argent liquide une fois par mois, pour permettre aux demandeurs d'asile d'acheter les autres choses dont ils ont besoin. Si vous faites vos courses à ASDA ou TESCO, vous pouvez racheter ces bons d'achat à NDRC, et en même temps faire preuve de solidarité envers les demandeurs d'asile. Les bons d'achat se présentent sous forme de "gift cards" utilisables jusqu'à épuisement total du crédit.
Les bons d'achat TESCO peuvent également être utilisés aux stations service TESCO.
