Sister Albertine and the Pope

Notre Dame de France was abuzz with stories of the Pope today. Sister Albertine, one of our loyal volunteers, went along to see him in Twickenham (Strawberry Hill) on Friday. She kindly found time (in the midst of her busy day) to write a few lines for us about her day. Note the wrist band, a memento of the occasion.

"We had morning prayers with the Pope: we were about 400 in the Chapel. I was very happy and pleased to see him. It was a good visit for him, I think, in England."

"Nous avons dit les prieres du matin avec le Pape. Nous etions 400 environs dans la chapelle. J'ai ete heureuse de le voir. Je pense que c'etait une tres bonne visite en Angleterre."
