London Fashion Week, Soizic and Eleanore

A fabulous way to spend a grey Friday afternoon. Soizic Quentin de Coupigny very kindly invites us to Corrie Nielsen's catwalk show at London Fashion Week. She and Eleanore Mensah, who helps run the NDRC sewing group, have been working behind the scenes on the show. Many, many days of work - and sleepless nights - spent on these exquisite dresses.

A great privilege to be invited. We had heard such a lot about the show over the weeks as - incredibly - Eleanore and Soizic continued to come into run the sewing group weekly. Backstage - Father Ed congratulating Corrie Nielsen (born in Florida, graduate of London College of Fashion and Central St Martin's, winner of last year's Fashion Fringe) watched by Eleanore's lovely daughter, Ana.

And Soizic herself, still - as ever - full of energy! What an achievement.  The show's already being brilliantly reviewed.... It was a thrill to see it.
